Normally, once your order enters the 'Processing' part of your account status, it may not be cancelled or altered in any way. However, if your package has not been shipped yet, you can use the information on the Contact Us page to request alterations, however PLEASE NOTE, that if your package has already been assigned a postage tracking number we make NO GUARANTEE that the change can be made before the order ships. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you would like to purchase any of our products, but are concerned about using your credit card, we can offer you another payment option. This method is the most secure of all and is arranged for you by your bank, who will transfer the funds directly to our bank without exposing your credit card number to the internet, or in sending it by fax.
This method is called a Ôwire transferÕ, Ôtelegraphic transferÕ or ÔInternational funds transferÕ, and if you would like to use this service, contact us by e-mail, and we will send you our account # and remittance instructions.
Once we receive confirmation that our bank has received the transfer from your bank (usually within 10 days) we will send you your order.
Although this payment method may cause you a small inconvenience in that it requires you to call at your bank to make the arrangements, it is the ultimate in secure, no risk funds transfer and is the method which is universally accepted in commercial transactions world-wide.

All of our products carry a 12-month manufacturers guarantee on quality of workmanship and materials, provided that the product has been cared for according to the manufacturer's instructions, and used for its intended purpose.
Returns and Exchanges
Best of Downunder Ltd will exchange any product that has been purchased with another size, style, colour or brand from our online catalogue, charging only for any price difference (in the case of a different style being supplied in exchange), and return shipping.
It is essential that tags and labels be not removed if an item is to be exchanged.
A handling fee of $10.00 may be added if tags or labels have been removed and the product has to be repackaged.
We allow customers to try the garment on to confirm that it fits well, but not to remove any of the swing tags or labels before requesting an exchange, or to wear the garment any more than is necessary to confirm that the size and style is correct for them.
The cost of returning a product for exchange is to be born by the customer.
In our experience the main reason for exchange requests has been because an incorrect size was purchased, we therefore strongly recommend that the sizing information is read and followed before the size of a jacket or coat is selected.
If a product is supplied and clearly is not suitable for the customers intended use, and no alternative would meet the customers need, we will make a refund of the product purchase price less shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee upon receipt of the product in the condition that it was supplied.
Goods returned for credit after 30 days have elapsed from the time of purchase will be subjected to a 25% restocking fee.
If there is an apparent fault in any product it may be returned to us, and we will return it to the manufacturer for their inspection. It will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion. Products ordered that may from time to time be included in a manufacturers catalogue but which do not appear in our on-line catalogue are not able to be refunded or exchanged. This includes all made to measure jackets and coats.
In the event that a product is repaired or replaced, the return shipping costs may be reimbursed to the customer to a maximum of $25.00.
Shipping Information
We offer New Zealand and worldwide delivery on all products available within our online store. All orders are dispatched from our New Zealand store via standard post or courier.
We offer the following international shipping options:
- International Express Courier with track and trace (5 days)
- International Economy Courier with track and trace (14 days)
- 1st class airmail (14 days)
- Economy Air (6-8 weeks).
The charges for each service are calculated separately according to the weight of each product.
Import Duty or Tariffs
Charges MAY apply in some countries. Import duty or tariffs are the responsibility of the purchaser, and we advise you to check with your local Customs Office for details. In many cases the value of the purchase will be below the dutiable level, and Customs will make no further charges. Even if you are charged import duty, the total cost of your purchase is still likely to be below the local retail price. |
